First of all I would like to thank you for the last 11 years. For introducing me to such artists as Zappascosta, Jane Monheit, Peter White, Warren Hill, Dave Koz just to mention a few.So many of my friends are asking what happened to your station? We feel like we've lost a best friend and internet,iPad/iPod Internet Radio just doesn't do it for us. In some ways I feel and understand the comments of Kendra of Oakville although I feel a little more sad than angry. Wish all of us who truly care and have been loyal fans of Smooth Jazz could change your minds about coming back on the FM dial.I suppose from now on we will just have to count on our own CD's for good listening. You will be sadly missed.

Can't understand the advertisers. We were at the Kingsway festival over the weekend and the wavefm stage was the busiest one!! Loved every artist you brought to us!! Thank you!

It's sad not to have you broadcasting on the FM airwaves. I've enjoyed listening to your station from the beginning. I can't access it on the internet during the day at work and miss it during the drives to and from work. Actually have to revert to recorded music of my own instead and turn off the radio as there isn't anything much left that interests me there now. It's a shame.

Please bring back my favorite FM station! I miss my daily routine so much. Let us know how we can support your FM application with the CRTC.

You can listen to WAVE on your iPad/iPod Touch with a dedicated radio app. Go to the App store and get TuneIn Radio. In the app, enter CIWV in the search Stations, Songs... box and it will find the station, Click the heart to save as a preset. The Pro version allows you to record, so load up a days worth to play in the car on your device. The app can also be found in the iTunes store in the apps area.

I am now listening to The Wave Smooth Jazz on the internet at work - But I miss it on the radio. One co-worker who I got to tune in has now change his radio channel to a different channel now.
Please come back to FM Radio.

As all other fans of this wonderful brand of music we anxiously await the return of The Wave to the FM dial (fingers doubly crossed). There is nothing even remotely close on the radio so until then I have rediscovered my cd and MP3 collection. I will continue to listen those familiar hosts via internet when I can at home but sure wish it was easier! Miss you guys.

Like Sandra Hinds, I too, bought an internet radio and cannot access Wave - it can find the station, but cannot connect to it. It just keeps retrying, to no avail. Anyone else having this problem? - and, more importantly, any solutions?

Given that we have myriad radio stations all playing the same pop tripe, I don't understand the change of music venue. The WAVE was one of the few stations that seemed to be for adults who wanted more than listening to just shockingly bad music. The WAVE provided great music regularly that couldn't be found on any other station and expanded my interest in this kind of music. Why the CRTC continues to approve radio stations with the same music format is shocking. I can't stand the pop crap anymore and miss the WAVE - a stand-out station for driving to work and back home. Please come back!!!

Here was a rare chance to sit by the pool. Kids are at camp. I drag out the old radio and set it up next to the sitting area, dial in the station and sit back ready to relax.
What I hear next has me believing there is something wrong with the old radio! It was such an old radio I thought I left it out in the rain one too many times and thru it out.
What a surprise to learn Smooth Jazz was not available on 94.7 but only country!
Relaxing by the pool just won't be the same!

The Wave was part of my daily drive. I thought there was a problem on my radio, I checked - I'm on the right frequency! Country??!! I guess the station has a problem not my radio. I guess I have find other stations (91.1FM) to listen on my drive. Sorry... Please let me know when you're back on the airwaves.
