On Monday, July 18th Vancouver’s newest radio station, WAVE 98.3 – Vancouver’s Coolest Vibe, was launched. WAVE 98.3 features a mix of smooth and funky instrumentals, classic Motown and R&B groove, as well as hits from today’s biggest stars like Michael Buble, Adele and The Weeknd.
WAVE 98.3 offers a unique music choice for Vancouver listeners, ideal for listening at work, grooving in the car or decompressing in the back yard!
The on-air team at WAVE 98.3 features a mix of veteran entertainers and new talent.
Mornings are hosted by veteran Vancouver stage, screen and radio personality, Tara Jean Stevens. Triple threat musician, author and long-time radio host, Vickie Van Dyke, holds down middays, while Kelly Latremouille handles the drive home.
Weekday evenings are the purview of seasoned Wave personality, Gary James. Dyno is your afternoon on-air pal during the weekend.
We round out the weekend with “The Dave Koz Show,” Saturday and Sunday mornings. It’s a two-hour hangout with this beloved Grammy nominated smooth jazz sax icon.
