HD Radio stations offer more listening options through the advent of new technology which allows a digital transmission to be broadcast over traditional radio waves. If a station broadcasts “in HD” (and right now only a few do), a single frequency is now capable of delivering up to four stations or streams of content in crystal clear sound. Most new cars/trucks have HD radios. KX-947, KX96, CKDO, 92.9 The Grand and The Wave can all be heard in HD.
You can ask the Google Assistant on your speakers or smart display to play radio stations by name, location and more.
